This online Overhead Cranes course is designed to provide you with the knowledge required to safely inspect, maintain, and operate overhead cranes.
Upon successful completion, you should be able to:

Recognize the primary causes of overhead crane accidents and dropped loads

Follow the manufacturer's instructions during inspections

List the requirements for pre-start inspections and log books

Recognize crane hand signals
While this course touches on some items related to Rigging, it is recommended that operators also complete Rigging (Basic), Rigging (Intermediate) or Rigging and Slinging (Advanced) in conjunction with it.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available to download and print. This certificate is valid for 36 months. Please note that, in some jurisdictions, additional practical evaluation on equipment may be required to ensure regulatory compliance.
